High-Speed Hub Test Requirements

The following must be successfully completed for Hubs:

  • Full-Speed Electrical Tests
  • High-Speed Electrical Tests
  • Interoperability Tests
  • Functional Tests
  • USB Hub Transaction Translator Test
    - Required for uncertified hub silicon only (USBHTT) 
  • Submission of Completed Hub Checklist 

The checklist requires identification of the receptacles, cable assembly or, if the cable is captive, the A connector used in the manufacture of the hub. Hubs must use receptacles, connectors and/or cable assemblies that are currently on the Integrators List. Please refer to the USB-IF Compliance Test Procedures for the test methodology.
