Full-Speed and High-Speed USB On-The-Go Product Test Requirements

USB On-The-Go products must pass all certification test requirements for standard USB peripherals. In addition, the USB OTG product must pass the following tests:

  • Physical inspection for:
    • mini-AB receptacle
    • user interface display
  • Signal Quality as a host (A-Device)
  • Signal Quality as a device (B-Device)
  • OTG Electrical Test (OET)
  • OTG Protocol Test (OPT)
  • Interoperability with devices listed on the targeted peripheral list
  • Submission of completed USB OTG Compliance Checklist

The checklist requires identification of the receptacles and cable assembly used in the manufacture of the product. Products must use receptacles, connectors and/or cable assemblies that are currently on the Integrators List.
