Eligibility Requirements

Because the supply of PDKs is limited, the USB-IF expects to use the following criteria to distribute PDKs. First consideration will be given based on the following factors. Applicants will be asked to certify that they meet one or more of the following criteria. The ideal candidate would meet all of these criteria.

1.       Must be a USB-IF Member in good standing

2.       Must certify that your company has plans for production release of a commercially available product based on (i) the Certified Wireless USB specification from the USB-IF and (ii) WiMedia’s UWB Common Radio Platform specification

3.       Must certify that your company has allocated a dedicated engineering head count to support your development work

4.       Must agree to provide engineering/debug information about the PDK to the USB-IF

5.       Must agree to actively participate and promote Certified Wireless USB and WiMedia’s UWB solutions at IDF, Certified Wireless USB Developers Conferences, CES, or other relevant industry trade shows
