USB 3.0 xHCI-based Peripheral Development Kit (PDK)
The USB 3.0 xHCI-based Peripheral Development Kit (PDK) for USB 3.0 provides two host-side solutions. It is intended to assist companies who are developing peripherals. It is not intended for companies developing host solutions.
The PDK consists of two xHCI-based host PCIe add-in cards.

The following system is needed to use the xHCI-based PDK:
- ATX or BTX Mid Tower Desktop System Case
- Intel Desktop Board (or equivalent) with PCIe slot
- Intel Core™ 2 Duo, 1.80GHz or higher clock speed
- 1024MB of RAM or higher
- 450W Power Supply or higher power rating with AC Power Switch
- DVD/CD-Rom Drive
- 40GB or Higher Hard Disk with 10GB of free space
- Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse
- Windows 7 Operating System
