USB-IF HWA-based Peripheral Development Kit (PDK)

Thw HWA-based Peripheral Development Kit (PDK) for Wireless USB provides a host-side Certified Wireless USB radio solution. It is intended to assist companies who are developing devices. It is not intended for companies developing host solutions.

The PDK consists of a host wire adapter dongle. Visit the USB-IF e-Store to purchase a PDK.

Product Overview:

  • Host wire adapter dongle 
    • Based on Intel Wireless UWB Link 1480 silicon
  • SMA cable and attenuator for device connections
    • PDK is for conducted use only. Over-the-air operation is not supported
    • 1 Meter cable and SMP-to-SMA adapter included
    • 30dB Attenuator included

What else is needed to use the HWA-based PDK?

  • PC system with available USB port
  • 512MB of RAM or higher recommended
  • 40GB hard disk or larger recommended
