How to become a contributor 

Thank you for your interest in becoming a contributor to the Wireless USB 1.1 Specification. The requirements for participation as a Contributor are as follows:

 

A.  Your company must be a USB-IF member in good standing, AND

B.  Your company must be a Wireless USB 1.0 Contributor AND your company must execute the Amendment to the Wireless USB Specification Contributors Agreement

Step 1.      Join the USB Implementers Forum. To determine if your company is already a member of the USB-IF, please refer to the current membership list. To join the USB-IF, complete and send an original copy of the Membership Agreement signed by a duly authorized representative of your company along with a check for payment of the membership fee to:

Step 2.     Your company must have executed a Wireless USB 1.0 Contributors Agreement. To verify if your company is already a Wireless USB 1.0 Contributor, please reference this spreadsheet.

Step 3.       In addition to being a Wireless USB 1.0 Contributor, your company must execute the Amendment to the Wireless USB Specification Contributors Agreement

      Email an electronic copy of the completed Wireless USB 1.0 and/or Amendment to the Wireless USB Specification Contributors Agreement(s) executed by a corporate officer to Jeff Ravencraft at jeff.ravencraft@intel.com.

      Send two (2) original, signed copies of the Amendment to the Wireless USB Specification Contributors Agreement by Fed-Ex Priority One to:

Step 4.        After the above requirements have been met, you will be able to access the Documents, Events, and Contributor Area of this site using your members' area username and password.  

Once your company is a member of the USB Implementers Forum and the properly executed Contributors Agreements are received by the Wireless USB 1.1 Promoter Group, your company will gain access to the draft specification in the Contributor Area and be eligible to participate in industry reviews of the draft specification.
